Dr Shrinand Vaidya, Robotic Hip & Knee Surgeon is proud to become a member of the prestigious Knee Society, USA. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Chicago, Illinois, USA. He was trained under the able guidance of Dr. C.S. Ranawat, MD at Lenox Hill Hospital, New York, USA. Dr. Ranawat is a household name in India, a pioneer and the co-designer of the world's first & most successful knee replacement surgeon.
After his return from the United States, Dr. Vaidya continued to serve his patients who come seeking his advice from all over the country and abroad. Today, he spreads the message of excellence in total joint replacement surgery.
He works with a dedicated and talented team of resident doctors and physiotherapists. All this enriches the finer aspects of post-operative patient care owing to the personal involvement of the team members. Dr. Vaidya was a part of the team which performed knee replacement surgery on the former Prime Minister Shri Atal Behari Vajpayee. He is amongst the few Asians, to be awarded with International membership of the prestigious American Association Of Robotic Hip & Knee Surgery (AAHKS).He was a Past President (2013) of the Indian Society Of Hip & knee Surgery (ISHKS) & on the board of trustees of ISHKS. Presently he has been appointed as a "Registry director" of India & works in sync with Neeti Ayog, for the Registry task force.
He has exclusive access to computer navigation technology which allows this surgery to perform precisely and with very small incisions. From 2021, he started using Robotic Are assisted Robotic Hip & Knee replacement Surgery, after being exclusively trained. This allows rapid recovery and early discharge of the patients, almost on the 2nd day of the Surgery.
